Absolutely, I’m right with you. Martha Beck would wholeheartedly agree with everything you’ve expressed too, Stacy. Her new book Beyond Anxiety; Curiosity, Creativity, And Finding Your Life’s Purpose is all about that.

I'm new to Substack. I love this post and would like to share it with a close friend. If I use the share icon and put the link in a text, will she be able to read it even if she does not have the Substack app?

Thanks Kate, and yes, you can share the link. It's available to anyone. It may ask if she wants to subscribe, which she can or she can skip that and still read on! Thanks for sharing. ;)

Thank you! It's funny, I took a look at this post again just now, seeing that first line of feeling tender... Felling that again today. Definitely a day to find some studio 'play' time. I hope you find your own way to create and stay in your joy. 💓

Stacy, I love everything you say here especially, “Stay in your joy.” What a beautiful sentence that means so much to me. I have found that when I stay calm, really see what is around me, and be creative, I am able to stay in my joy!

Thank you Leslie. ❤️ Isn't it amazing how moving into that creative space where you can hear yourself more clearly and refind center shifts your whole perspective? It's my go-to tool these days!

Ah thanks Janet. Yeah, I've just recently (like yesterday!) made the switch from The Artful Crone to The Makers' Circle here on my substack. It's one of the paid levels and it includes some community connection as well as a monthly online gathering where we can make together and share what we are creating. If you want to learn more, check out the About page for the Feisty Crone. I think the switch is a good one... but I guess I missed a few old posts to fix the links! Woops!
